Er is veel veranderd sinds begin jaren 50, ook de wensen en eisen van muzikanten. De MALIBU serie is gebaseerd op de gitaren met geschroefde hals uit begin jaren 50, maar is door Greg Bennet in een modern jasje gestoken. Zo is de body een stuk kleiner en lichter gemaakt wat hem een stuk handzamer maakt en ook heel erg geschikt voor de wat jongere gitaristen. Ook is de ‘’neck-pocket’’ dieper gemaakt en word de hals onder een lichte hoek op de body geplaats en is de kop van de gitaar onder een hoek geplaats ten aanzien van de hals wat de stemmingsstabiliteit enorm ten goede komt. Dit zorgt niet alleen voor meer attack, sustain en betere stemming maar zorgt ook nog eens voor een betere bespeelbaarheid.

We hebben deze Malibu 1/4 el. gitaar zeer licht afgesteld zodat het speelgemak heel fijn is voor kleine handen zodat de kans op een leuke nieuw gevonden hobby heel groot is.

• Our service: The guitar is ususaly equipped with regular electric guitar strings from the manufacturer. Caused by the short scale we strongly recommend to replace them against suitable ones. Another option is to tune the guitar a fourth higher (A, D, G, C, e, a) than a regular electric guitar. Otherwise the strings are rattling and the intonation is incorrect!
• Equipped with suitable strings a regular tuning is possible. We already replaced them for you in our workshop. The adjustment of the action and the intonation is also included.
